I am a happy Oof!

First off I wanna say that I love this. Secondly, I’m going to just kind of use it as an example for something I’ve been wanting to express for a while.

This photoset shows just how much difference coloring makes.

It sets the mood for the image, it accentuates different parts of the image, and it sets the “message” for the design of it.

In the first one I see an older feel of it, sort of like a photograph or a memory of fireworks or happiness but sort of sadder now, based on the expression in his face.

Moving on to the second, it takes a little bit longer to see the message and it’s more difficult to interpret. This one is prettier in my opinion as well. The fireworks or whatever sort of sparks raining down on him give it an electric feel, and his expression once again sets a sadder kind of mood to it. The coloring with the purples and pinker areas say love, but the darker purpleish blues are more melancholy and somber. The destiel shipper in me wants to say that this was created with the intention of showing how he’s longing for Dean.

Although I enjoy analyzing this kind of thing upon occasion, I realize most people probably don’t care, and the creator of it probably wanted to just make something pretty with this screencap, which they did, so mission accomplished.
